| This is a long, narrow, clear lake just north of the Severn River, with fast-breaking
rocky shorelines and some very deep water (up to 70 feet). Although primarily a 'numbers'
lake, the trophy fish are bruising, in the 4 to 5 pound range. Long known as a smallmouth lake, Woodland also holds largemouths too, along with some of the original once-stocked splake population. The camp setting on this pristine lake is very beautiful. The recently renovated cabin is ideal for couples, with a double bed (single above) very comfortable and roomy. A separate interior eco-toilet adds to the convenience. An aluminum boat equipped with a 3.3 hp motor give guests the opportunity to roam the full length of the lake quickly
